Items Not Collected


Due to state regulations that took effect at the beginning of 2013, electronics may no longer be collected curbside. 

Drop Off Items

Going forward, residents have access to a closed container for recycling of such items as:

  • Computers
  • Computer monitors
  • Computer peripherals
  • Laptops
  • Televisinos

Residents can drop these items off at:

Residents can recycle these items wherever new electronic items are purchased (i.e., Best Buy, etc.).

Collection Events

Each year, Montgomery County also sponsors household hazardous waste, tire, and electronics recycling events at various locations in the area. Grass Clippings & Yard Waste

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Composting services, Aborganic Acres and Hetrick Gardens offer alternative solutions on what to do with items such as:

  • Grass clippings
  • Yard Waste
    • Branches
    • Garden debris
    • Hedge trimmings

Home Construction & Demolition Debris

Paint Cans

Latex Paint Cans

Latex paint cans will be collected with regular trash. They must be emptied and dried out with no lid.
