Lower Pottsgrove Township works with a wide variety of organizations to expand the types of activities available to its residents.

Pottsgrove Recreation Board

The Pottsgrove Recreation Board provides recreational programs for residents of Lower Pottsgrove, Upper Pottsgrove, and West Pottsgrove townships. This organization serves all age groups and sponsors:

Local Trail Networks

Lower Pottsgrove is located near several regional trail networks, namely the Schuylkill River Trail, which follows the Schuylkill River into Philadelphia, and the Perkiomen Trail, which follows the Perkiomen Creek. 

Montgomery County Parks & Recreation

The Montgomery County Department of Parks and Heritage Services has six County parks spread throughout Montgomery County. From as small as 15 acres to as large as 3,400 acres, there is something for everyone. Boating, fishing, walking, jogging, summer concert series, live wildlife displays, etc are abound in the County parks.
