Lower Pottsgrove received a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to prepare a master site plan for the 32-acre Snell and Norton Park. The Township established a steering committee consisting of park neighbors and various representatives of the Township and community. Simone Collins was retained by the Township to lead the planning process which began in September of 2009 and was completed in June 2010.
