Lower Pottsgrove Township Recreational Programs & Activities

Lower Pottsgrove Township offers a wide variety of programs for residents of all ages. For the Townships younger residents, Lower Pottsgrove offers an Easter Egg Hunt, a Fishing Derby, and Halloween Festival. For residents of all ages, the Township hosts a summer concert series at the band shell in Sanatoga Park and movie nights at Gerald Richards Park. LOWER POTTSGROVE 2010 EVENT SCHEDULE

Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 27th @ 9:30 am Gerald Richards Park Goodie bags and thousands of candy and toy stuffed eggs. Plus we will be having "The Bunny Hop" sack races! The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures with the family!

Fishing Derby Saturday, June 19, 2010 @ 7:30 am Sanatoga Park, 100 South Sanatoga Road Join us for the 10th Annual Fishing Derby. Participants will be able to learn angling techniques from a representative of the Fish and Boat Commission and then try their hand at it in a stocked lake. Prizes awarded for several categories. Pre-registration is required for all participants.

Exelon Nuclear 2010 Summer Concert Series- Sanatoga Park Band Shell, 200 South Sanatoga Road, Sundays at 6 pm Lower Pottsgrove Township and Exelon Nuclear are pleased to present the 2010 Summer Concert Series. Join us on Sunday evenings at 6 pm (weather permitting)! No reservations required. Bring the family, a beach blanket, or chair and enjoy a night of family-friendly concerts under the stars. Fall Festival at Sanatoga Park 200 South Sanatoga Road, Sunday, October 24th at 1 pm Join us for hayrides, a children's show, games and a costume contest! Children participating in the costume contest will be required to pre-register.
