Construction Continues Next Week on U.S. 422 Improvement Project in Lower Pottsgrove Township


The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction will continue next week on U.S. 422 in Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

🚧 Monday, April 8, through Thursday, April 11, from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between Evergreen Road and Armand Hammer Boulevard for shoulder reconstruction.

🚧 Monday, April 8, through Thursday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between Keim Street and Evergreen Road for shoulder reconstruction and clearing.

🚧 Monday, April 8, through Thursday, April 11, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, intermittent 15-minute traffic stoppages and traffic paces will take place on eastbound and westbound U.S. 422 between Evergreen Road and Armand Hammer Boulevard for controlled blasting.

**Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
