Lower Pottsgrove began working with TRIAD Associates on a
Community Revitalization Plan for census tract 2087.04 in September 2007. This planning study is being partially funded by the
Montgomery County Community Revitalization Program. Over the next 6-8 months TRIAD will work with the Community Revitalization
Task Force to develop a framework for future revitalization work in Lower Pottsgrove Township. Study areas include:
- Economic Development
- Housing
- Infrastructure
- Public Safety
- Public Spaces
- Streetscapes
- Historic Preservation
- Signage
- Cultural and Arts Attractions
This study is being guided by a 20-member Task Force which consists of residents and business owners in Lower Pottsgrove Township
in addition to elected and appointed Township officials, Township staff, and representatives of the Montgomery County Planning
Commission, PECO, and PennDOT.
Members of the Lower Pottsgrove community may also participate in this process through four public meetings:
