Lower Pottsgrove is working with the team comprising of Simone Collins, Urban Partners, and Traffic Planning & Design to develop a master plan for future development in the Sanatoga Interchange area of Route 422. This area will be experiencing a lot of growth as a result of the Philadelphia Outlet Malls, which will open in November 2007. Lower Pottsgrove has commissioned a consultant team to study the area and develop a plan for sustainable growth. This study will look at the following:

Economic Development
Land Use
Infrastructure
Transportation
Public Spaces
Streetscapes
Signage

This study is being guided by a 9-member Steering which consists of elected and appointed Township officials, Township staff, and representatives of the Montgomery County Planning Commission, PECO, and PennDOT.

Members of the Lower Pottsgrove community may also participate in this process through several public meetings.
