Lower Pottsgrove hired TRIAD Associates to develop a Community Revitalization Plan (PDF) for census tract 2087.04 in September 2007. This planning study was partially funded by the Montgomery County Community Revitalization Program and sought to develop a framework for future revitalization work in Lower Pottsgrove Township by looking at the following study areas:
- Cultural and Arts Attractions
- Economic Development
- Historic Preservation
- Housing
- Infrastructure
- Public Safety
- Public Spaces
- Signage
- Streetscapes
Task Force
This study was guided by a 20-member Task Force which consisted of residents and business owners in Lower Pottsgrove Township in addition to elected and appointed Township officials, Township staff, and representatives of the Montgomery County Planning Commission, Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO), and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
